THE QUEENS OF 2014
THE QUEENS OF 2013
When I won this title I knew I could say this was the right time for me because I felt like I finally knew who I was. I knew what I believed in and I knew that I could be true to myself and show young women that you don’t have to compromise yourself to get ahead. I am so grateful for this experience as I now know it has helped to shape me into a better person. My year has been incredible with appearances, and above all else, full of laughter and memories. These moments are forever etched into my mind and cannot be replaced. In a way, I hoped this night would never come because it means that my time as a titleholder is at an end. But I’m going to smile because I did have this chance and I now have the whole world in front of me.
Mom & Dad: There are not enough words to express how grateful I am that you are my parents. You have supported me in every activity I have ever gone after from my pageant to fulfilling my dream of being a Miami Dolphins cheerleader. You are the best support team in the world and everyone would be so lucky to have parents like you. When I won, I am not sure whose reaction was better- my crying or mommy’s crying and yelling. Dad, thank you for being with me every step of the way and being such a great help with every little detail. You are the best costume designer in the world and I wouldn’t have made it without you. Thank you for being my biggest fan. Mommy, thank you for being such a comfort throughout everything. For sacrificing yourself to make sure I can do everything I want to and sharing those moments with me. You are beautiful, absolutely hilarious, and no one has a better time together than we do. You know my dreams and you have helped me go after them. I love you guys so much that there is no better way than just to say it simply, I love you.
Miss Rose: Thank you for your love and dedication to me and your other title holders. You're more than a director, you're a mother and a friend wrapped in one. I have had the pleasure of knowing you for so many years and it has truly been a blast every step of the way. Thank you for your belief in me and for always supporting everything I do. I love you very much.
Kirsten: Thank you for making my dad and i's vision come alive. My costume was absolutely perfect and I honesty am as in love with it now as I was last year. Thank you for making my evening gown everything that I wanted it to be. You truly are talented and I wish you nothing but the best in the future.
All my friends and family who have supported me: Thank you so much for all your kind words and support! It all has meant so much to me and has warmed my heart to know that I have so many people who believe in me.
To all the ladies who don’t leave here with a crowntonight: It’s hard, I know. I have been in your high heels. I have cried those same tears and tonight is going to be rough. But you have been a part of an incredible experience here, you have stepped outside of your comfort zone, and hopefully you have learned something about yourself. You beautiful ladies chose to go after a dream tonight which took a huge amount of courage. For that, I am tremendously proud of you.
To Miss Worldwide International: Be thankful for what you have been given tonight. Relish this experience and savor every moment. Don’t forget who you are, thankfully there is no cookie cutter for this title and you are going to bring a special, individual sparkle to that crown. Having that sash and crown does not give you a voice in which to speak out, we all have that, but it does make yours louder and puts you a step above the crowd. Remember, with great power comes great responsibility so always use your power to be the wonderful role model I know you can be. Don't ever worry about you being fit for the crown; the crown is always made to fit you.
It's been a whirlwind of a year that I will truly never forget. Even though this is coming to an end, I will always be April Jazmine Camacho, your Miss Worldwide International 2013.
Just about a year ago I was more than honored to have been the first crowned Miss Worldwide International Teen, only because I know how much potential this pageant has. It was more than just a pageant it was also a learning experience, I was able to look into my culture and appreciate it. Through this pageant I was able to represent my roots, and for that I am forever grateful.
My year as Miss Worldwide International has finally reached its end, but I will forever carry this title near and dear to my heart, as it was the one that gave me that last bit of confidence that I needed for myself to be able to realize that dreams may be a reality all with hard work and dedication.
I'd like to thank the woman who gives young girls ambition to follow their dreams, Mrs. Rose, thank you for being the woman you are and without you none of this would be possible, I know this pageant was one of your dreams and it's came true. And no one would be able to do it better than you. You are definitely a second mom to all of us and thank you for creating this family.
Also thank you to everyone else that has made an impact In my life, such as my friends, coaches, and the girls from Dama that one way or another make me want to work harder to set a better example for them.

Representing Ms. Worldwide International has been a joy. Thank you to my friends and family to their unwavering love and support. Many thanks to Miss Rose and the entire Worldwide International family for the opportunity to represent my birth place Puerto Rico. Being able to share the culture and beauty that is that unique island has been indescribably wonderful and having the chance to meet all other young ladies representing their countries has been inspiring. Thank you with all my heart. With love Angela Overton, Ms. Worldwide International
It has truly been an honor and a pleasure to hold the title of Mrs. Worldwide International 2013.
I couldn’t be more proud and humbled to have represented all married women around the world, and my native country of Cuba. The year certainly went by swiftly and although I am sad to relinquish this title which I hold dear to my heart, I am also excited for the new representative that will be selected. I do not leave here empty handed for I take with me numerous experiences I will treasure forever.
First and foremost I want to thank God because without him nothing is possible. He has given me a beautiful life to live, and on a daily basis reminds me how incredibly blessed I am. Secondly, my family, which means the world to me and is my most, prized possession. They make me proud each and every day and are my source of strength to always believe in myself, lead by example and try to make the world a better place. Thank you for enriching my life in so many ways! I love you, and you know who you are.
Ms. Rose Ramirez-Martinez--my amazing director. We have so much history together. You introduced my daughters and me to the world of pageantry and have consistently encouraged us to continue and never give up. We have learned so many great lessons along the way which have made us stronger, fiercer, and better individuals. Ms. Rose you are an angel and a source of inspiration and admiration for all who know you. Your work ethic and integrity are truly exemplary, and all of us titleholders immensely appreciate everything you do for us. Thank you for all the community service opportunities this year, appearances, and memorable moments we have shared as a family. Your professionalism and experience speaks volumes.
To the next Mrs. Worldwide International, I wish you the best in all you do. You will have the chance to experience an amazing year. Make it your own and take with you a beautiful season in your life. Always allow the grace and beauty of your spirit to shine through. Speak from the heart and give all you’ve got to those you touch. We have lived the longest in the bunch and have priceless experiences to share. Remember always that less is more…be honest, kind and sincere. Get ready for an exciting year and I hope it will be as rewarding for you as it has been for me!
